How to Remove a Chevrolet Windshield Washer Nozzle305

Windshield washer nozzles are small, plastic devices that spray washer fluid onto the windshield to clean it. Over time, these nozzles can become clogged with dirt and debris, which can prevent them from spraying fluid properly. If you're having trouble with your Chevrolet's windshield washer nozzles, you can try removing and cleaning them. Here's how to do it:

1. Gather your materials. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver, a flat head screwdriver, and a pair of pliers.

2. Open the hood of your Chevrolet. Locate the windshield washer fluid reservoir. It is usually a white or black plastic tank located near the front of the engine compartment.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield washer pump. The electrical connector is usually a black or gray plastic plug located on the side of the pump.

4. Remove the windshield washer fluid hose from the pump. The hose is usually held in place by a small plastic clip. Use a pair of pliers to squeeze the clip and pull the hose off of the pump.

5. Remove the two screws that hold the windshield washer pump in place. The screws are usually located on the bottom of the pump.

6. Pull the windshield washer pump out of the reservoir. Be careful not to spill any washer fluid.

7. Remove the two screws that hold the windshield washer nozzles in place. The screws are usually located on the top of the nozzles.

8. Pull the windshield washer nozzles out of the hood. Be careful not to damage the nozzles.

9. Clean the windshield washer nozzles. Use a small brush or a piece of wire to clean out any dirt or debris from the nozzles.

10. Reinstall the windshield washer nozzles. Insert the nozzles into the hood and tighten the screws.

11. Reinstall the windshield washer pump. Insert the pump into the reservoir and tighten the screws.

12. Reconnect the windshield washer fluid hose to the pump. Push the hose onto the pump until it clicks into place.

13. Reconnect the electrical connector to the windshield washer pump. Push the connector onto the pump until it clicks into place.

14. Close the hood of your Chevrolet.

Your Chevrolet's windshield washer nozzles should now be working properly.
