Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and answering their questions regarding product features, benefits, and origins.
Processing sales transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability.
Building rapport with customers, fostering loyalty, and proactively identifying their needs.
Assisting with inventory management, including receiving shipments, checking stock levels, and identifying low-stock items.
Collaborating with the management team to achieve sales goals and improve store performance.
Staying up-to-date on the latest trends and products in the baby and children's goods industry, with a focus on Chinese-made products.
Understanding and adhering to all store policies and procedures.
Participating in store marketing initiatives and promotions.
Assisting with visual merchandising to create appealing displays.
Maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory.
Handling customer returns and exchanges professionally and efficiently.
Providing feedback to management regarding customer needs and preferences.
Working effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth store operations.
Proactively identifying and reporting any issues or concerns to management.


Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in retail sales, preferably in the baby and children's goods industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
Strong customer service orientation, with a commitment to providing a positive shopping experience.
Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is essential. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 25 pounds.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Familiarity with Chinese export regulations and processes relating to baby and children's goods is highly desirable.
