Instructions:

Earflaps:

Make 2.
Round 1: Ch 15, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (14 sc)
Round 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc around. (14 sc)
Rounds 3-14: Ch 1, hdc in each hdc around. (14 hdc)
Round 15: Ch 1, sc in each sc around. (14 sc)
Round 16: Ch 1, sl st in each sc around. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Attaching the Earflaps:

Sew the earflaps to the sides of the hat, aligning them with the bottom edges of the headband.

Butterflies:

Make 3.
Round 1: Ch 5, join with sl st to form a ring. (5 sc)

Round 3: Ch 1, *hdc, dc* in each sc around. (20)
